Daily Positive Thread for Tuesday

When you can't fall asleep, spend the time talking with God and in prayer
you will soon be sleeping. Lord, next to Your heart, what a safe and
restful
place to sleep.

"Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."
~Matthew 18:20

"Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."
The spirit of God can come upon God's followers when they are all together
at one time, in one place, and with one accord. When two or three
consecrated souls are together at a meeting place, the spirit of God is
there to
help and guide them. Where any sincere group of people are together,
reverently seeking the help of God, God's power and God's spirit are there
to
inspire them.

I pray that I may be in accord with the members of my group. I pray
that I may feel the strength of a consecrated group.

Hello my friends! Hope you all had a good Holiday today - we went to see my
sisters - nice weather - sun was out, yet a bit cool. Good food, good
visit - hour and a half drive, Sammy was along and he was so good! Everyone
loved him and he them. I brought some treats along and he showed off! Yes,
Lori and friends ski dived this morning!! Their pictures on on Facebook and
they enjoyed it a lot!! It was safe being the instructor hookes himself to
them and he does all the controls etc. and has a nice landing. Still it
wouldn't be for me.
It was a blessing to see my sisters again - Erma with Parkinsens's please
pray for her. I still pray for her healing - a big miracle!! Deil will be
89, and doing good! She's the birthday girl - her party was just a little
early. Angie left this morning - miss her already!

GOOD MORNING JESUS

Good morning, dear Jesus, my Savior,
Good morning dear Mary, my Queen,
Good morning bright Angels,
fair sentinels
Of Jesus Who dwells here unseen,

Dear Lord, I bring Thee red roses
All wet with the dew of Thy grace.
Every thought, every word,
every action
And my heart I give for their vase.

This offering I make through Thy Mother
Whose Heart is so sinlessly white,
Whiter than wings of the Angels
Who watch and pray by me here
all night.

One favor, sweet Jesus, I ask of Thee,
Inflame my poor heart with
Thy love
So whilst I toil in this valley
My spirit may dwell far above.

IS YOUR HUT BURNING?
Author Unknown

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited
island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he
scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.

Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of
driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to store his few
possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived
home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the
sky. The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stunned with
grief and anger. "God, how could you do this to me!" he cried.

Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship
that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. "How did
you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers. "We saw
your smoke signal," they replied.

It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad. But we
shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the
midst of pain and suffering. Remember, next time your little hut is
burning to the ground ---- it just may be a smoke signal that summons
the grace of God.

He Loves You So

By the Spirit
Jesus is letting you know,
That he will never
Let you go,

That his love for you
Is free and pure,
That you can trust him
And feel secure.

As you rest in Him,
Your God, your King,
Start counting the blessings
Your choice will bring,

For Christ is the friend
who will stand by your side,
While you dare to trust him
And truly abide.

By the Spirit
He will help you to grow,
Till your heart is assured
That he loves you so.

Child Of The Day

I'm a child of the day don't have to listen to what the devil has to
say, he'll feed you with lies, and fill you with whys.

Try to turn you around make you bow to the ground, he will tell you some
stuff to make your life miserable and rough

Don't listen to him that old deceiver remind him you are a believer,
you're an overcomer and he's just a bummer

We have weapons to do our work it's our duty we must not shirk, The
shield of faith above all, stand still so you won't fall

Overcomers we're made to be, open your eyes so you can see. There's not
a devil to big for us when it's in God we trust

We've got a helment, breastplate sword of the Spirit, a belt of truth we
must hear it, Our feet shod with the gospel of God

Who told you, you can't win, that came from the man of sin. We have
Father Son and Holy Ghost, in Him we can boast.

Don't stand back with a whine, with our Father we can dine, You can
trust Him in what to do, He'll take good care of you.

Prayer To Blessed Teresa of Calcutta - Today's her Feast Day

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, longing to love Jesus as He had never been
loved before, you gave yourself entirely to Him, refusing Him nothing.

In union with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, you accepted His call to satiate
His infinite thirst for love and souls and become a carrier of His love to
the poorest of the poor.

With loving trust and total surrender you fulfilled His will, witnessing to
the joy of belonging totally to Him. You became so intimately united to
Jesus your crucified Spouse that He deigned to share with you the agony of
His Heart as He hung upon the Cross.

Blessed Teresa you promised to continuously bring the light of love to those
on earth; pray for us that we also may long to satiate the burning thirst of
Jesus by loving Him ardently, sharing in His sufferings joyfully, and
serving Him wholeheartedly in our brothers and sisters especially those most
unloved and unwanted. Amen.

Good night everyone! Sweet Dreams and may you all have a very blessed
Tuesday!
