Re: Daily Positive Thread for Sunday

Lucy - nice to see you and glad you got on - I know how aggravating that can be! It is a peaceful day today - but really raining alot! We are staying in after Mass. Took a nap! I'll pray you don't have that bad weather out your way - tornadoes are a scary thought.

Bobbiesue - You're not doing anything wrong. Lots of times people don't reply to some of my posts, lots! It's better than being bashed as I was this morning on another thread.

Re: Daily Positive Thread for Sunday

I attended the Divine Grace Novena held in our church this afternoon. There was chanting at the beginning, followed by Mass and the adoration of the Eucharist. It was a very beautiful and touching experience. Plus they also acknowledged the canonization of the two new saints. I was especially moved by that since one of the new saints and I share an ethnic background!

Thank you again for all your prayers. It is going to be a trying week.

Re: Daily Positive Thread for Sunday

shorelady - we didn't get to the Divine Mercy services that were held at the Cathedral today because of heavy rain and we both were so tired we rested, but wish we could have gone. We don't have that in our parish, but at the Cathedral - three hours of it.

I'm so glad you were able to go and get spirit-filled. And the two Saints were mentioned this morning too at the First Communion Mass! That's so wonderful! You'll be remembered in prayer especially this week. Do you have any Poor Clare Sisters near you that you could call?

Unfortunately we do not have any Poor Clare Sisters anywhere near me. And yes, the services were enlightening and very calming. I can only put things in God's hands and hope for the best.

Thank you for your email address. I have it copied down, so if you like, you can edit the post and remove it. Some people prefer not to have it for any length of time in their posts.

Again, thank you for everything. We can only hope and pray now.
