Hello my friends! Tomorrow is the Feast of the Baptism of our Lord. Christmas Season is officially over now and tomorrow I'll pack the Nativity Set for next year. It looks so nice on the piano! Tonight I'm feeling good - I just did a good work-out on the treadmill and health-rider! Linus did too! It's a great blessing to have our garage heated to about 45 degrees - I can work up a sweat!! I'm so glad we made our decision last night before contacting places to have the celebration - so nothing has money put down - everything's good! No more stress in that area!! Life can be stressful enough, don't you think? On the positive side, we always have Our Lord and Mary, His Mother and our Mother, to be with us in all things. Two calls today from Darla - that sure was a blessing for today!! Having Linus home - he helped me clean thoroughly the refrigerator! Another blessing! Can you share with us some of your blessings? Meditation for the Day
I believe that all sacrifice and all suffering is of value to me. When I am
in pain, I am often tested. Can I trust in God, no matter how I feel? Can I
say, "Your will be done," no matter how much I am defeated? If I can do
these things, my faith is real and practical. It can work in bad times as
well as in good times. God's will can work in a way that is beyond my finite
mind to understand, but I can still trust in it.
Prayer for the Day
I pray that I may take my suffering in my stride. I pray that I may accept
pain and defeat as they come, and grow spiritually as I receive God's
strength to make it through.
Prayer for the New Year
May our God of New Beginnings and Wonderful Surprises,
Bless and Fill you
with the Knowledge and Reality
of Jesus walking by your side
Every Day and Every Hour of this New Year.
May the Light of Christ shine through each one of us.

I think there is something that can make us live joyfully. It is that Jesus
is with us and loves us. If each one of us would simply remember that God
loves us and is giving us the chance to love others in that love not so much
in big things but in the little things of life our countries could become
full of God's love.
