Daily Positive Thread for Sunday

Avoid using the words 'If only...' and 'I should have...'. These can destroy

your peace of mind and even your health. Lord, help me to stop punishing

myself for past mistakes and live in the peace of the present.

Scripture for the day:

"O God, do not be far from me; O my God, make haste to help me!" ~Psalm

71:12

Meditation for the day

I can work for God, with God and through God's help. By helping to bring

about a true fellowship of human beings, I am working for God.

I am also working with God because this is the way God works, and God is with

me when I am doing such work. I cannot do good work, however, without God's

help. In the final analysis, it is through the grace of God that any real

change in human personality takes place. I can rely on God's power, and

anything I accomplish is through God's help.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may work for God and with God. I pray that I may be used to

change human personalities through God's help.

Hello my friends! Restful day today - many blessings! We finally got to be out in our Patio today, he cleaned it up, and we ate our lunch out there, he bought bird seed and we're awaiting the birds. We got most of our plants out there again now so they can enjoy the sun! Talked to Darla today on the phone - she'll find out in a week if she gets an offer - it's all in God's Hands now. So we continue to pray and all according to His Will. Please feel free to share a blessing or two with us - God gives us so many throughout the day and we take them for granted, usually. My prayers are with you all - thanks for praying for us.

"I am the Bread of Life. No one coming to me will ever be hungry again. Those believing in Me will never thirst." -John 6:35

"I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in me and I in him shall produce a large crop of fruit." -John 15:5

"I am the resurrection and life. Anyone who believes in me, even though he dies like anyone else, shall live again." -John 11:25

"I have come as a Light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness." -John 12:46

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."

Thank you, Jesus, for revealing Yourself in a way we all understand.

EASTER PRAYER

Risen and glorified Lord Jesus, today we keep the memory of what the Father has done by raising you to new life after your death.

May this truth be for us an unfailing source of hope that where you have gone, we also may go.

May we see in your resurrection that God´s promise to humanity will be fulfilled, so that when you come again in glory we may be with you and the Father in the Holy Spirit for ever. Amen.

Prayer of St. Faustina to Our Lady

O Mary, my Mother and my Lady, I offer you my soul, my body, my life and my death and all that will come after it. I place everything in your hands, O my Mother, cover my soul with your virginal mantle and grant me the grace of purity of heart, soul and body. Defend me with your power against all enemies and especially against those who hide their malice behind the mask of virtue. Fortify my soul that pain may not break it. Mother of grace, teach me to live by God?s power.

O Mary, a terrible sword has pierced you holy soul. Except for God, no one knows of your suffering. Your soul does not break, it is brave, because it is with Jesus. Sweet Mother, unite my soul to Jesus, because it is only then that I will be able to endure all trials and tribulations and only in union with Jesus will my little sacrifices be pleasing to God. Sweetest Mother, continue to teach me about the interior life. May the sword of suffering never break me. O pure Virgin, pour courage into my heart and guard it. Amen.
