Peace of Jesus to all! Another blessed warm sunny day here to enjoy! Lori was just here for supper, lunch too, but tonight I found out that she met someone last Saturday. His name is Jeremy and they hit it off. He lives in Texas right now but is moving back here as his family is here, and he wants a job here. Meeting her will make the move faster. He already has a place to stay here with a friend. He was just here for his Grandfather's funeral. Pinky, that's why I continued with color, because it's reasonable with Georgia, otherwise it was out of the question. There's a lady in our Church who's a Communion Minister, and she has the most beautiful red hair I've ever seen, and when she distributes Communion right under the sky light, her hair just shines and I told her that! It's so beautiful. I like mine too, but hers is prettier. I was the only redhead in my family so maybe that's why my sisters want me to keep it, My had had some red in his hair and his siblings had some red. Please pray that Lori and Jeremy work out - all according to God's plan. He was never married either and no kids. She says he's a lot of fun! Since Saturday she's seen and talked to him quite a bit getting to know each other. He's tall, over six feet! May God's Will be done!
THE DEVIL´S BEATITUDES
If the Devil were to write his Beatitudes, they would probably go something
like this:
* Blessed are those who are too tired, too busy, too distracted to spend an
hour once a week in Church ~ they are my best
workers.
* Blessed are those who wait to be asked and expect to be
thanked ~ I can use them.
* Blessed are the touchy, with a bit of luck they may stop going to church
~ they are my missionaries.
* Blessed are those who are very religious but get on everyone's nerves ~
they are mine forever.
* Blessed are the troublemakers ~ they shall be called my children.
* Blessed are those who have no time to pray ~ they are easy prey for me.
* Blessed are the gossipers ~ for they are my secret agents.
* Blessed are those critical of Church leadership ~ for they shall inherit
a place with me in my fate.
* Blessed are the complainers ~ I'm all ears for them.
* Blessed are you when you read this and think it is about other people and
not yourself ~ I've got you.
I truly feel my heart bursting from my breast on hearing of your suffering. What wouldn’t I do to see you relieved of it. But why are you so anxious? Why are you so restless? Come on, my dear daughter, I have never seen Jesus grant you so many jewels as He does now. I have never seen you so dear to Jesus as you are now. So why do you tremble and fear? Your fear and trembling is similar to that of a child in the arms of its mother. So your fear is useless and silly.
March 12
Waiting, trusting, and hoping are intricately connected, like golden strands interwoven to form a strong chain. Trusting is the central strand, because it is the response from My children that I desire the most. Waiting and hoping embellish the central strand and strengthen the chain that connects you to Me. Waiting for Me to work, with your eyes on Me, is evidence that you really do trust Me. If you mouth the words “I trust You” while anxiously trying to make things go your way, your words ring hollow. Hoping is future-directed, connecting you to your inheritance in heaven. However, the benefits of hope fall fully on you in the present.
Because you are Mine, you don’t just pass time in your waiting. You can wait expectantly, in hopeful trust. Keep your “antennae” out to pick up even the faintest glimmer of My Presence.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.”
—John 14:1
Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
—Psalm 27:14
God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.
—Hebrews 6:18–20 – From Jesus Calling
