When you have faith in yourself and God, you will know that you are loved
and safe and never alone. Lord, I am these things because You are always
with me.

Scripture for the day:

"If God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow
is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you--you of little
faith! And do not keep striving for what you are to eat and what you are to
drink, and do not keep worrying. For it is the nations of the world that
strive after all these things, and your Father knows that you need them.
Instead, strive for his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as

Meditation of the day:

I know that God cannot teach anyone who is trusting in a "crutch." I can
throw away the worldly things I have come to depend upon and walk in God's
power and spirit. God's power can so invigorate me that I can indeed walk
on to victory. There is never any limit go God's power.
I can go step by step, one day at a time. God's will can be revealed to me
as
I go forward.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may have more and more dependence on God. I pray that I may
throw away the "crutches" I sometimes use for excuses.

Hello my friends! Well another nice over 30 degree day today! Can't
complain about the weather at all!! People are walking their dogs! Our
neighbor and wife are leaving in the morning to go to the Caylan Islands -
for about a week. We stopped there one time on a Cruise ship. It was a hot
day I remember. This morning Linus went to Dr. Mike for his knee - it hurt
when he went there, and after it got adjusted the pain was gone! He will
continue going to him, and also get some kind of injections that our Nurse
Practitioner suggested she does for it, Dr. Mike suggested both his
adjustments and that treatment - Linus gave him the brochure to ask what he
knew about it. He's all for it - Linus doesn't want surgery. He's also
thinking of having Dr. Mike sign a paper for him for work to not do over 5
hours a day anymore. Continue your prayers for his knee, I'm counting on
you all! Your prayers are always heard - praise God. And I also ask Mary
to intercede and she does.

Total Surrender

Just think of almighty God in the womb of Mary, locked in.
He had to cling helplessly to his mother.
This was the total surrender of Christ.

Someone Prayed

Someone prayed when my heart was lonely
Someone prayed and my heart grew lighter.
Someone prayed when I was too weary
Someone prayed and You gave me strength.
Someone prayed when my heart was broken
Someone prayed and You healed my wound.
Someone prayed when my cross was heavy
Someone prayed and You made it lighter.

with worry, grief, anger and strife

to accept God's Will and His perfect peace.
Someone prayed when I could not feel Your
caring and loving, Your guiding my way
Someone prayed and You held my hand, the sun
grew brighter and I knew no fear.
Someone prayed when I lost a loved one and his
soul ascended on wings of prayer and You
taught me then through sorrow and loss to
reach out to others and shoulder their cross.
Someone prayed and I saw the light that You give
to those who are willing to share Your wondrous

As you travel through life there are always those times
When decisions just have to be made,
When the choices are hard, and solutions seem scarce,
