Hello my friends! Hope you all had a good day today! We went to Deil's and met with a social worker at her house to see if she can be eligible to get some help for her. Maybe a house cleaner once a month, bathroom fixtures for hanging on etc. she doesn't even have those! and maybe some other things. It was a good meeting, and after her wonderful taco soup she made and pumpkin pie, we headed for home. Supper was Father Jerry here, wonderful visit!!!Always is! He is a great Spiritual Director, and cousin! We enjoy when he comes, he starts playing the piano, he's great - he plays by ear - no notes! Touches the piano and great music comes out. He told us of a brother-in-law of his who has a grandchild, who played a concert on You Tube - look up Joey Coswell - child pianist. He said he's so good and fun to watch. We haven't had the time yet, if you do, let me know what you think of him. Well, friends, tomorrow morning at nine Linus and I find out the results of his tests. Praying for no strokes. He thinks it was though, mini ones. He said just so it's not a brain tumor! Praying for you all - thanks for your prayers for us! For the inspirations I send out daily - I don't expect you all to read each one, just those that pertain to you and can get something out of. Hope some do help.
If you want peace and goodness in your life you must be kind and loving.
Lord, may I avoid creating misery so that my life will reflect my love for
You.
Scripture for the day:
"My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it
nothing but joy, because you know that the testing of your faith produces
endurance; and let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature
and complete, lacking in nothing." ~James 1:2-4
Meditation for the day:
As we look back over our lives, it is not too difficult to see that what we
went through was for a purpose and helped to prepare us for some valuable
work in life. Everything in our lives can help make us of some use in the
world. Each person's life is like the pattern of a mosaic. Each thing that
happens to us is like one tiny stone in the mosaic, and each tiny stone fits
into the perfected pattern of the mosaic of our life, which has been
designed by God.
Prayer for the day:
I pray that I may not need to see the whole design of my life. I pray that
I may trust the Designer.
Deliver me, O Jesus,
From the desire of being loved,
From the desire of being extolled,
From the desire to being honored,
From the desire of being praised,
From the desire of being preferred,
From the desire of being consulted,
From the desire of being approved,
From the desire of being popular,
From the fear of being humiliated,
From the fear of being despised,
From the fear of suffering rebukes,
From the fear of being calumniated,
From the fear of being forgotten,
From the fear of being wronged,
From the fear of being ridiculed,
From the fear of being suspected.
Amen.

JUST CALL UPON HIM
-- Author Unknown
The boy walked along the ocean shore . . . trying not to stray. He looked up
to his father saying, "Dad, I want to play."
His father looked upon him, with love showing in his eyes. "Do what you want
to, my son . . . but do not leave my side."
"I would never leave you Daddy, I love you way too much." But the boy took a
step away, out of his father's range of touch.
He walked through the surf, the waves tickling one toe. "If I take one more
step in . . ." he thought, "Father will never know."
His father called out to him, "Son, to me remain true!" The boy thought with
glee . . . "At the moment I don't need you!"
His father felt a sadness, but he held his tongue. Sometimes lessons need to
be learned . . . even when so young.
The boy stepped out a little further . . . the water covering his waist. His
father spoke with urgency . . . his father spoke with haste.
"My son, come back to me," he said, "The day is almost done!" "Not yet,
Dad," the boy yelled, "I'm having too much fun!"
But the boy did not have his father's insight so he could not yet tell, The
tide was coming in fast . . . there would be no time to yell.
"Father!" he tried to scream, as the water covered his head. "I need you
now, Daddy!" was what the boy had said.
And in a single instant his father was by his side. "I thought you left me,
Daddy . . . I thought you went to hide."
The father looked upon his son . . . a tear streaming down his cheek. The
boy looked upon his father . . . and cried the sobs of the meek.
"I would never leave you son . . . for I love you just the same." "I was
only waiting . . . for you to call upon my name."
Does evil exist?
The university professor challenged his students with this question. Did God
create everything that exists? A student bravely replied, "Yes, he did!"
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil
since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who
we are then God is evil". The student became quiet before such an answer.
The professor was quite pleased with himself and boasted to the students
that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question
professor? Does cold exist?"
"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been
cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question.
The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the
laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat.
Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits
energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy.
Absolute zero (-460 degrees F) is the total absence of heat; all matter
becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not
exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no
heat."
The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course it does."
The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist
either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but
not darkness. In fact we can use Newton's prism to break white light into
many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot
measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness
and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure
the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by
man to describe what happens when there is no light present."
Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"
Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said.
We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man.
It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These
manifestations are nothing else but evil."
To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does
not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like
darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of
God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love that exist
just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what happens when man
does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes
when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

LET ME IN!!!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only
Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have
everlasting life.
I looked out the hotel window and observed a circular air vent across
the way. Many sparrows were flying in and out of it.
I noticed one pathetic little bird who tried and tried to get in the
vent, but all his attempts were in vain.
In Biblical times, there was a watchman at the gate of each city,
and there, in San Antoine, Texas, there seemed to be a watch bird of
the vent ! This watchbird guarded the nesting area , and was the
“keeper of the vent ”, so to speak. The watchbird denied my little
feathered friend admittance to the nesting area, and it made me
sad. Why, I wondered , did he not belong? What had he done or where
had he been hatched, or what was his physical deformity that kept him
as“ the outsider”? He seemed determined to gain admittance, flying
from one side to the other, trying to make his swoop in to the
area. Finally, however, he gave up his valiant effort and just flew
away .
In God’s house there is no watchman at the gate to deny our
admittance. There is no station of birth, no bad deed we have done,
nor any deformity that will keep us barred from the house of the
Lord. As a matter of fact, God sent His only son to give us an
individual invitation into God’s presence. What a wonderful invitation
that isÂĽ.and such a personal one, too. What a wonderful God we
have ! He knows each one of us personally and He invites us to know
and live with him forever, through a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ.
THANK YOU. FATHER FOR THE INVITATION YOU HAVE GIVEN US TO
RESIDE WITH YOU FOREVER.
When I say good morning I mean to say:

O-ffers us His
O-utstanding
D-evotion to

Nine year old child prodigy Joey Caswell(WOW) That kid is great. As I was looking through the other artist on that you tube page I came across a St. Louis Blues violin duet by Mark O'Conner and a Sara Caswell I was wondering if Joey was related to her. Those two were great also.

Hello everyone,
Bobbisue, God is not mad at you! We all have our difficult days. It's in times when our journey takes us through rough terrain, that we need to stop and look back at our lives, and see how God helped us then. When you do that you will know that God is with you and together you can handle anything. And yes I know that you might be thinking...that was then, and this is now. Our circumstances may change dramatically in an instant, but God never changes.
Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Psalm 102:27 "But You remain the same and Your years will never end." God remains the same throughout time and eternity.
Gloriajean, prayers for you and your loved ones. Hope we you have good news today.
Harlene, Jamma, hope you both have a great day with many blessings from God.
Danky, Welcome! Prayers for Devon Stills baby daughter, and the family.
Love Roses, Cakers1, hope the both of you are doing well. You have been in my thoughts and prayers.
Until next time...
Take care, stay safe, and may God bless each and everyone of you.

Hi all! Good news! After Saturday when he had that episode, remember I mentioned that after we served coffee and donuts after Mass Sunday, I asked Father Mark to anoint him as we were scared. He did right away. Then on Monday he went to Dr. Mike for vertigo, got adjusted, Tuesday to the Doctor, who had blood tests done, arranged for him to have a CT Scan on Wednesday, and today to meet and get the results. NOTHING was shown - no strokes, no nothing! Today he had an ultra-sound - again, nothing! They still want him to go to a neurologist and are making the appointment as soon as they can. Would you believe that with the anointing of the sick, God took away the symptoms of a stroke? Healed his body of that? Last night when Fr. Jerry was here, and we told him he got that anointing Sunday, he said then it's gone! God does Miracles in this day and age too! This is a great blessing, and it's all due to the anointing and of course, all your prayers!!! Praise and thanks be to God! He gets all the credit. His cholesterol is a little high - 214, we're trying to get that down naturally with the right foods.

Gloriajean, that is really good news! When I posted earlier, I just felt real good about it...I just felt that you would have good news. Good news indeed! Thank You Lord Jesus, for our answered prayers.
