Thanks to all the replies and advice I recieved about my father moving in with my family, I have to say things are not that bad and I enjoy having him here, I know this is where he needs to be,with someone who make sure he is taking his meds and eating properly,I know he still wants to go visit his so call wife in va that is not happening,she doesn"t even call to check on him, he does the calling. I finally got the Durable power of attorney,if there is anything else I need to do please let me know,I am going to get a living will done for him too
