What a wonderful story! The Father of the bride stops the wedding in order to have he and his daughter's step father walk her down the aisle.

That is SO awesome! What a lucky bride to have such a thoughtful Dad, to include her Step-dad!
Thanks for my feel-good moment for today!

I love this story. My dad and my second step-father got along great. Both sets of parents/step-parents hung out together. I was a very lucky girl.

It's nice to see the respect the father has for his daughters step father.

I have a cousin whose parents were divorced when she was 6. Her father was in the military and was hardly ever in the USA. She never saw him from when they split until she got in touch with him to walk her down the aisle at her wedding. She had been raised by a stepdad who was a wonderful person and a great dad. The hurt he felt over her getting in touch with her father was so painful to him I can't even describe the rift it caused between them, that lasted the rest of his life. He forgave her but he never forgot. no one in the family ever understood why she did that.
