DUMB QUESTION ABOUT ORANGE JUICE!

I poured a glass of juice this a.m. around 10 a.m. and forgot to drink it! I'd like to have it now (around 7 p.m.) but wondering if it would be OK after sitting out.

It wasn't fresh squeeze, poured from a carton out of the 'fridge. thanks!

I think it would be alright. O.J. is very acidic, which slows the growth of microorganisms.

I agree. I wouldn't hesitate to drink it. My husband will often pour juice and let it sit for hours before he drinks it. I wouldn't like it because it would seem too warm for me but he has no problem with it.

i am the same way @J Town Girl ......it has to be ice cold for me. i would sit it in the refrigerator for tomorrow and grab a fresh glass.

I prefer my cold juice room temp anyway so mine always sits outs for a while. Go for it, better to drink than not.

Tropicana says not to drink it after it's been unrefrigerated for three hours, but they probably just say that so they don't get sued. (I looked it up out of curiosity because I would not drink it after nine hours.)
