On very rare, special occasions, I will have a Starbuck's Mocha Frappuccino. They're delish. But, yikes, the large size is 500 calories. Maybe more, since I think the large size used to be only 20oz. Maybe not. But, it's a calorie blizzard.

Only one thing that Dr. Oz said that rang true for me .... Don't drink your calories.

Drinking water or tea and those calories leftover should go to nourishing food.  Common sense, IMO.

No, I don't.  It's odd because I drink coffees all day most days and am not picky other than not drinking weak coffee. But for some reason I do not like Starbucks at all.

As mentioned by others, I think their coffee tastes burnt to me. I don't care for sugar in my coffee so I don't need all that stuff they add to make their substandard coffee taste better. I know I'm definitely in the minority, however, because the one in our town stops traffic with their drive-thru so backed up. If I want a sugary drink, I'll go to Dairy Queen and get a milkshake Woman Very Happy

Nope.  They're wat over-price and I think their coffee is terrible.  Too much hype and not enough substance.

My son and one daughter love it and will go out of their way to get it.

I like very strong coffee and expresso but Starbucks tastes very bitter to me.Strong coffee does not have to be bitter.

The only one I liked was a Christmas blend they had years ago.

I've never tried the ones like the one you pictured.

McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts or 7-11 coffee I can understand, because it is good. I don't see how so many love starbucks either.

I went to a Starbucks once in 1997. I went inside to wait for a friend and ordered a small, black coffee. I couldn't drink it. Too strong and muddy tasting. That was it for me. Since then Starbucks and Dunkin' have exploded in the community I live in. You can't drive 1/2 mile without seeing one or the other. People do love their coffee here.

I drink far less coffee than I used to. One cup as I'm putting on my makeup in the morning and one when I get to work.  I'll occasionally get a small, iced mocha latte from Dunkin in the afternoon. The dairy bloats me up and I'm unable to eat anything more for the rest of the day. This will be my daily maintenance tool once it get to goal weight. Whatever it takes.

Re: DO YOU LIKE STARBUCKS?

[ Edited ]

I find Starbucks to be too acidic for my taste.  I much prefer Jones (formerly Dunn Bros) or Caribou.

But I will almost always choose the small locally-owned coffee shops over the big boys.

A Dunkin Donuts medium Iced coffee cream only -- one a day usually.

If I have Starbucks its a medium iced latte with whole milk
