@kitcat51 Those are my absolute favorites. I only allow the caramel ribbon crunch on very special occasions. It's so delicous, but so very bad for you. The caramel macchiato is my standard order, not that we go that often. We mostly go when me and my husband are out together for a special treat. I also love the shaken ice teas there. I get them with no sugar and add my own. I'm a tea lover and those are so good.

Re: DO YOU LIKE STARBUCKS?

Born and raised in the heart of Dunkin' country.  I have had a total of three sips of Starbucks coffee in my life and that was more than I could take!

We used to tell people who liked Starbucks that they could get the same thing at Dunkin' if they just asked for a cup of any coffee they had sitting on the heat since yesterday.  (Only problem is no coffee stays around long at Dunks!)

My city has 2 Starbucks and they close at 8 pm.  We have 9 Dunkins and 2 are open 24 hrs, 2 are open until 11:30 pm, and the others in corporate areas close at 9.

New England is solidly Dunkin' country!

If you've ever had a cup of their coffee, plain, and tasted how bitter it is, you'd know why they HAVE to add so much other sugar and sugary additives.  No one that likes coffee would ever drink it plain.

So they are pretty smart .... take a cheap, substandard quality coffee, add a LOT of overpriced extras that increase the price, and people stand in line to buy it!  Wow!  LOL!

Having said that .... if I walk by a Starbucks of Pete's or whatever, I'll always step inside to take a deep breath ... the stores always smell great.   I also step inside other stores for a "breath" ... bakeries, candle stores, etc.  Sometimes the scent is the "high" ... and all I really need.

I am not a big coffee drinker.  Once in a while I will have a cup of black coffee if I am having a sweet dessert.

I can't drink it for breakfast...it kills my stomach.

I have had Starbucks a few times....it was nothing special  and way too expensive.  I am not a fan of sugary sweet coffee drinks.

I do like cold brew iced coffee and make it occasionally.  Cold brew is smooth and rich, with no acid to upset my stomach.

@ID2

The reason they stay in business is because they sell SUGAR .... with a smidge of bad coffee thrown in.

The price markups on these drinks is unbelievable!  That's why people buy their franchises.  In the correct location, it's practically a license to steal.

(And I like coffee ... mine, not theirs).

I'm not a coffee drinker so no I don't care for their coffee. I love the smell of regular coffee but I've gone in to buy gift cards and the smell inside upsets my stomach.

I love their caramel, Frappuccino's, or I should say I used to.. they are not as flavored s as they used to be. Even lighter in color. Just tastes like iced sugar. Got tired of returning them for one correctly done, so I gave up. Too expensive for such a hassle!

@781Florist It might have been the JetBlue terminal at Logan & there was a Starbucks next to a Dunkin'...I couldn't believe Starbucks had customers! It's nasty stuff!
