I am willing to bet the 24 oz is only 20 cents more because the mark up is higher on the 16 oz.  Just like in restaurant, it's a common practice to have the greatest mark up on the second to the least expensive wine.  Because human nature is to not want to look cheap and buy the cheapest wine.  So a lot of people choose the 2nd.  LOL

I am probably in the minority but I don't like Starbucks  I think the coffee is too strong.  I like McDonald's or Dunkin's coffee when stop for coffee.  Most of the time I make my own at home in a traditional drip pot.  I don't like the K Cup either.

The coffee I use at home is sometimes Peet's but we have local roaster in my town.  I like that best.

I don't like Starbucks coffee. Tastes burnt and too strong. I make my own coffee at home using Costo Kirkland Columbian coffee.  3 lb. can.  I drink it hot in the morning. Later in the day I drink the leftover coffee iced.  Tastes good to me.

My late DH was addicted to Starbucks and drank 2 of their venti coffees a day.  If I am out running errands I get a coffee at Wawa or QuickCheck (convenience stores).

I've rarely ever set foot in Starbucks because of the ridiculously high prices

I do however purchase Starbucks ground coffee and KCups @ my local Giant Eagle when they run a great sale. This week I purchased may fave Veranda blend for only $4.99 per bag or per small box of KCups. I store my bags in a Lock n Lock and place it in the freezer. I make my own cold specialties, including frozen drinks using my Ninja Storm. LOVE icy drinks year round.

I'm not a coffee or hot tea drinker, so Starbucks is lost on me.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I love their cold drinks like that Carmel Frappuccino that you are showing. I also like their refreshers.

I have never been a fan of their Coffee. I don't get the love of it, and I am a coffee drinker.

I am not a fan of coffee; lemon pound cake is the only thing I've had from there, so I just drive by without looking.

I grew up with a dad that was a coffee tester. He worked at the World Trade Center, later in life, where he tested coffee that went into the coffees sold around the world. Only a few people develop that skill and he was a gourmet. He said Starbucks was cheap, dark roasted coffee. He would never drink it. He also said coffee drinks full of sugar were awful. Folgers was his favorite coffee and that was all he would drink. He roasted the beans himself.

Personally, I used to go to Starbucks for social reasons and often met friends there. They had a light roast, that I would special order. But now for health reasons, I can only drink de-caf and I prefer Dunkin.

Their specialty drinks are great. The plain coffee is not my favorite. I miss the Barnie's Coffee Shops

For a plain old cup of coffee, I'm satisfied with my own, or even gas station brews, in a pinch. I'm not that fussy.

On very rare, special occasions, I will have a Starbuck's Mocha Frappuccino. They're delish. But, yikes, the large size is 500 calories. Maybe more, since I think the large size used to be only 20oz. Maybe not. But, it's a calorie blizzard.
