DISH: dropped AMC now my local CBS

First it was AMC, tonight the warnings started Sunday night at midnight we could lose our local CBS channel 11, Todays THV. I'm disgusted this warning is not with enough time to get service with another provider to avoid missing new episodes of many returning shows and new shows. I'm switching to DISH. New promo package locked in for two years will save me $25 month. Is anyone else experiencing this with DISH? I pay extra to DISH to have local channels.
