Why don't you watch other news channels, such as MSNBC, for a few days to see what you've been missing...like, get to know BOTH sides of the issues, instead of just one-sided FOX.

It's kind of sad that you actually think MSNBC isn't completely one-sided ... just like Fox News.

So easy to point fingers when your eyes only see what you want them to see.

When your ears only hear what you want them to hear.

So what IF Fox is one sided? IF you don't watch, how would you know?

Same for those who don't watch MSNBC . . . with a liberal "forward" slant?

They all do it to a DEGREE.

Some particular segments more so than others.

It depends on the viewer/listener.

They HAVE to watch and listen to both sides . . . when they have both a D & an R spokesperson. They are there. Maybe some just don't want to see OR hear them.

Some spokespersons on CNN or MSNBC are more left than neutral.

Some on FOX are more right than neutral. Some are actually left. (you can actually look up their donations by party & candidates).

Calling names is just a cop out.

And with the ABC, CBS and NBC . . . why begrudge the right their one outlet they prefer?

Would you prefer to shut them down?

I have DirecTV, but they drop my local stations on occasion (WSFA - NBC). Never lasts for more than a couple of weeks. DirecTV has Fox News.

Don't forget that The Blaze is on DISH and represents conservative viewpoints and stories you'll be interested in.

DISH has a couple days to fix this or they to bye-bye.

I do like free stuff for the inconvenience.

Maybe FOX is genuinely asking for too much in fees?

They're all pretty much the same. None of them are 100% fair and balanced. MSNBC is so far to the left it's sickening. And yes, we do check out the other news stations. That's how I know MSNBC is way too far left.

It's CNN for now.

Just so some who replied know. I do watch other news channels but my primary and preferential choice is Fox News. What others think of it is up to them and their choice. I have always been a person that likes to here all sides, the right side/the other side and the side in the middle.

I didn't want to make this a plug for or against Fox News, just letting others know about what is going on with Dish customers and this network. And CNN was back on within 3 weeks when Turner Broadcasting Network was negotiating a contract with Dish Network. I don't know how many stations were included, but only a few of them were ones that I watch/DVR and I did miss some shows that I like.

I also called them when I lost those channels and asked them for a discount. They declined on that one even after I mentioned possibly switching to DirecTV.

When you mentioned the loss of Fox, I looked on my DISH, and low and behold it is gone as well. I am in California. Anyway, one year right in the middle of a great canadian serial (Wind at My Back)on INSP, DISH pulled the plug on the channel. I guess I thought, it was no use. However, after a couple weeks of INSP and my emails, and those of thousands of others it was back. Personally, I think it is a power play for money (what else could it be) by the networks and DISH. I notice a few other channels I disn't watch were gone too. They put a crummy channel called BLAZE in place of FOX NEWs last night when I looked.
