Re: DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE AT LOWES TODAY

As usual, my problem is with people and not the animals.  I'm a cat person so you can imagine how disgusted I get with humans.  Some ruin it for all of us.

Not my boy! He says stores are boring.

He gets a 2 mile nature walk at our local animal reserve, twice a day, plus outdoor excursions several times a week while geo-caching with his Dad.

When it comes to going to stores, he just looks at us like, "see ya' later, just give me my cookie and I'll wait right here on my bed at home", LOL!

Your wearing summer shoes in the winter? And yes, I agree there should be no animals in stores. I was surprised that Lowes allowed that? Yuck!

I am in the south and it was 84 yesterday.  Yes, it was yuck.

@just bee  If I could give this ten stars, I would.  Also, there are dogs that are trained to continually risk their lives in the name of service.

I always think about the dogs who shared the task of search and recovery after September 11, 2001.

@qvcaddition

Yes, my library also has that program.  The dogs I've seen were not involved in this program.  I'm a dog mom and wouldn't wnat to stress her out bringing her to a store or library.

Re: DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE AT LOWES TODAY

Slightly off topic, but while driving through Woodbury, NJ today I saw an older woman walking a smallish white dog and right behind her was a man with a shovel and three other men pushing wheelbarrows. Having read this thread just before leaving home my first thought was, "How much can that one little dog go to require that big of a cleanup crew?" I suspect the guy with the shovel and the three guys with wheelbarrows just happened to be following the woman and dog, but it brought a smile to my face.

@gardenman  What else could you think after following this thread?  You gave me my chuckle for the day.  Thanks!
