That's such an unusual thing to say, I have to ask what it was about him that made you think he was dirty?

He had a beard, but as you can see in the photo of him on this line, it was clean.

Maybe I should have said unkempt. Scruffy beards and t-shirts are not a look I care for.

Ah! Yes, I think he kept that 60's look for a long time Smile

Hmmm! A lot of people say I look like him and/or Willie Nelson. Now I know neither of them ever appeared in GQ magazine, but I do not equate how one chooses to cloth themselves with being dirty.

Since I dress pretty much the same, except I prefer sweat pants/cut off ones in warmer weather, and T-shirts? I also have a beard which I have had most of my life since I was 25 years old. And I also at times wear my hair with a ponytail, and I have 1 stud earring in my left ear and 2 in my right ear.

Looks like I don't need to guess what you might say about me. I've said here many times over that my wife says I look like a "homeless man" and quite often. The other day she asked me why I have not worn the new pair of shorts she bought me for or anniversary. I told her I am waiting for a "special event" to wear my for good cloths, and my old ones are holding up just fine.

John, that's the most fascinating personal comment I've ever read on Viewpoints! Love the earrings!

Re: DID YOU LIKE GEORGE CARLIN?

I have really enjoyed George through the years. And while I consider myself a fairly good Catholic I still laugh, hard, at his Religion is ____ ____ routine. And I will apologize to all who may be offended by that before you tell me how offended you are. {#emotions_dlg.devil2}

Re: DID YOU LIKE GEORGE CARLIN?

I always think of him at the airport when the attendants say they are going to pre-board. George would say ""what is pre-board? Board before you board"". Yes I liked him!!

No ... too crude for me.

I agree.

If my spouse told me I looked like a homeless person, I'd change my look and wardrobe.
