DH's inappropriate comment!!

My husband and I went to a friends house last night just to visit her. She is single with two cats. While we were sitting there talking, he says to her, " wow, your house smells like cat pee". I was so embarrassed and felt badly for her. On the drive home, I told him that I felt it was an inappropriate thing to say and that he can be brutally honest.

What do you all think of this?
