I was in Boscovs department store last week browsing in the intimates and saw her line in bras and underwear.  She had a nice selection of bras.  I'm not sure if she had other items such as nightwear or robes as I didn't check.

I admire and applaud Delta Burke for being open about her battle with depression, binge/purge anorexia and now being a diabetic and the problems that has brought. Her husband has stood by her side the entire time and offered constant support.

Maybe she has had surgery or maybe that is swelling caused by the medications she takes; maybe both. My sons' face does that due to his disease and it's extremely painful. In the end, does it really matter? She's beautiful INSIDE as well as outside.

One of Delta Burke's greatest struggles has been her

battle with her fluctuating weight, the product of type 2

diabetes and depression. She told Diabetic Living in 2008

that she credits her husband Gerald McRaney for helping

her through the dark times.

Gerald McRaney took home the very first Emmy of his

nearly 50 year acting career in 2017 for his supporting role

on This Is Us.

The couple, now married 29 years, showed up arm in

arm at the 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards Ceremony.

Her weight problem was from the meds she needed to take for her diabetes. They have that nasty side effect. In addition what you saw that night was because she had a low blood sugar episode. I remember reading about it in her own words later and how upset she was.

As far as emotional problems, it must have been very hard on her dealing with a disease that wrecks havoc on someone's weight in addition to losing some of her outward beauty. She was exceptionally beautiful so it must have been very hard for her.

I think considering everything she has been through, she still is beautiful. I bet a million to one everytime her husband looks at her, he sees the Delta he met so many years ago. Love is like that.......

I followed her pretty closely from the Designing Women days, and she sometimes related that overwhelming demands were placed on her to remain thin while she was on the show.

Some of us know that such approaches to lifestyle management rarely end well, and I believe she saw those issues as the beginning of her weight loss ups and downs.

Designing Women had an awesome cast but Delta Burke's character was my favorite. She was treated terribly by TPTB, because of her weight gain. In actuality it was written into the storyline in a way so many could relate to.

She and her husband were always (and still are) a handsome couple.

She played Suzanne Sugarbaker on Designing Women until she made the horrible mistake of gaining weight.  She was treated horribly by the shows creators, network, and alledgedly by some of her co-stars.  I think she probably went from a 4 to a 12-14.  In those days it was against the law to be anything but very slender and she became the target of late night "comedians" and the butt of nasty jokes.  She was gorgeous at any size.  I think she did develop Diabetes and some other health issues but her handsome husband stood by her.   She's still pretty, just different.
