Cricket is not eating much again even with the daily appetite stimulant.  😔

@MamaWick - Several years ago we had a rescue dog that became ill. Vet gave him an appetite stimulator as well which worked for awhile. He also suggested trying different foods for him. Of course, he only ate each for a few days then we had to try something else.

Here are a few things we tried. Baby Meat sticks, baby chicken meat, scrambled eggs, my hubby even cooked chicken livers for him. Also, try adding a bit of chicken or turkey stock to her kibble if that is what she eats most.

Wishing you and Cricket well. Love the deer pics.

Re: DEER Tuesday 07/27/2021

[ Edited ]

@MamaWick  Wonderful pictures of your young deer enjoying their treats.  It's always a pleasure to view all of them. 🥕🥕. Thank you for sharing them.

Woofs, kisses, gentle hugs and belly rubs for sweet Cricket.  😘 I am so sorry to hear that her appetite is declining.

Is she drinking?  Would she drink some chicken broth?  Are there any treats, in tiny amounts, that she might eat?   Creamy peanut butter or some carbohydrate?   Carbs usually help with nausea.   I think I mentioned Rescue  Remedy in a previous post.  It helped my chis when they were losing their appetite.

I hope she feels better. Her perky ears are beautiful.  Take all the naps you need sweet princess Cricket.

Still sending prayers and good thoughts for you all. 💕

The does appear to take center stage today, gentle lovely creatures enjoying their carrots and water.  The photo of the lone buck adding to the beauty of the other photos!!!  When I see the woodland creatures, I see a calm serene environment and that makes me content.  You create that environment, MamaWick, it's all good!

I hope Cricket is doing well and feeling better.  She is so sweet and loved by many!

What graceful and beautiful long necks the deer have.  It is very noticeable when they stretch to nab their carrots.

I am so sorry that Cricket is not eating again.  Is the heat oppressive where you are?  It is here.  If you are suffering through heavily humid days, it might be causing her appetite to diminish.  We are rooting for her, MamaWick.
