Still waiting for my first fawn sighting of the season. A neighbor about 2 blocks away said a mama stashed one in her tall grass.

As always @MamaWick pictures of Cricket and deer are adorable. They bring a smile every time.

So cute, as always! I can't wait for fawn pictures!
And there is sweet precious Cricket getting her nap in. I know she works so hard every day and has to get her rest! ![]()

@MamaWick Great pictures as always. Thank you so much for making my day! The deer look healthy and safe, thanks to all that you do for them.
Woofs and gentle hugs to the beautiful Miss Cricket. Cricket looks so good nestled in the lovely covers she has.

My daily dose of nature, calm and relaxing, the gentle deer gathering. They seem to pose for their photos knowing their carrots await. It's another act of kindness at the Wick's, nature's helpers!
Miss Cricket with her sleepy head held high surrounded in comfort!!!!! Life is good.

They look so peaceful & love the one with its leg raised & the other one with its nose in the air. Wonder what they're trying to tell you? Wishing you much luck with the fawn sighting. ![]()
I was lucky to see my first baby rabbit in our back yard this morning. What a cutie hopping around with the other critters & eating bird food. ![]()
Just gotta love our animal friends .. ![]()
EDIT: Gosh! how could I forget to mention Sweet Cricket .. You adorable girl. Guess you got bored deer watching. Maybe tomorrow you'll join them in the yard.

My expectations are that the first does will start delivering babies within the next 10 days, and others by the end of June.
It will be interesting to see how soon the fawns are brought out from the safety of the high grass into this herd environment.

These are the cutest pictures!
In that second to last one the one looks like she is bowing.
And the last one I have never seen a deer look up like that.
Really amazing pictures.
They all look so furry too. I would think that would be more in the winter time but maybe also if they are pregnant?
It is amazing to see them so up close, something I would have always wanted to do and now feel like I can even if its just from the pictures.❤️
