@MamaWick My thoughts are with you.  I know how hard it is to have one so ill and not eating.  You do the best you can do and be there for her.  That helps you get through and her as well.

The closeup photos of the deer's faces remind me of freckles  Either they have freckles, or they are teenagers and have acne!

@MamaWick    Could the hot weather be affecting Cricket's appetite?  My dogs often skip meals or eat little in hot weather.  Neither wanted any breakfast this morning.

That Buck's eye looks infected.  He has no one to take care of it.   I hope it can heal on its own.  Maybe the carrots will help since they are good for the eyes.  LIttle Cricket -- sending love your way.

 @MamaWick   Snickers doesn't like breakfast often unless I put something really special in it. A bit of tuna worked yesterday!  Today small pieces of toast hidden in food. 
  The hot weather doesn't help!  My son's Chow didn't want breakfast yesterday until I picked  a piece of wet up and told her how good it was. 
  It sat on her black tongue a second before she ate all of her breakfast.

  There are two new fawns following their Mamas here! They are usually at the lake because it's been dry.

I feel like I can touch the deer through that close-up. Amazing pics. I see that Cricket is resting comfortably. Love that blanket with the dogs on it too.

Every time the deer pics are posted, I think they can't get any cuter and yet they do!  And love seeing the buck with his big rack.
