Beautiful photos of the forest friends, always enjoyable to see nature. At the Wick Haven these gentle creatures are greeted with kindness and safety. They eat, relax and sense they are in a good place. Nature smiles.

So beautiful!

Last night or middle of the night I was sitting outside, looked up and there staring at me was a beautiful doe!

I had just been thinking that I hadn't seen any deer for awhile and missing them, and there she was so close to me.

I said hi sweetie pie and she slowly walked away. I wish I had a carrot or 2 to have given her and she would have stayed.

Still it was magical.

I don't know how they know that I put out birdseed. Do the squirrels or birds tell them?

I put out blueberries today- I read that squirrels and birds love them.

Maybe they will tell the deer!
