Little Willow - when in doubt of what to do, take a nap!
This reminds me of how my Canada Geese family would wait to see my car coming home from work and follow after me until I parked. They were ready for their afternoon snacks! I knew them since they were young and had babies of their own-"the teenagers." When they flew to another place where geese go in the winter, they came back to visit-the whole family a year later! I will never forget them.
We had a mama and dad mallard family too that had their babies in a nest right under the bush in front of our house. She let me hold the babies and we had a baby duck pool for them
Just like the deer, wildlife can get to know our voices and that we will be kind and give them special care and treats, and help to keep them from any harm.
