Sorry this is later than usual.  PapaWick's older sister is coming to visit next week and we've been getting ready all day.   You will notice some carrot residue on Mija.  The carrots I opened today were icky, but in date.  My son, who works for a major grocer here,  said they probably froze somewhere along the way.   There is a picture below.  PapaWick made me wear gloves to toss them (thankfully).  Anyway, some of the carrots landed on her head and torso...lol.

Mija is so adorable and seems to be a regular visitor at the Wick diner!  I'm sure she didn't mind the carrots being soft and landing on her head!  It's food and a tasty treat for the deer.  That was nice of you to make sure the food was eaten despite the icky issue!

Enjoy your time with PapaWick's sister, I'm sure she will be comfortable and welcome by the kindness you always provide!  As always enjoyable photos!

Ick to the carrots!  What a mess.  i have never seen that happen.  The little fawn poses so pretty.  That is a lovely picture of the fawn with her mother.  Wait until PapaWick's sister sees all the deer.  That will be a real treat.

Yucky on the carrots, but obviously it didn't affect the taste.  Do I spy an apple snack?  Nom nom. 

Woofs to sweet Cricket in heaven.  No doubt she's enjoying the bountiful goodies there. 💕
