The close ups of the deer are amazing!  I love the one where the doe seems to be talking to you.  I would find it so uplifting to have the forest friends be so close and trusting, they do feel at ease with you, MamaWick and that is so delightful!!  Great photos, always!

Seeing Cricket snuggled in your arms is precious and I know she feels safe there, I hope she is holding on and eating.  Sweet Cricket.

Aahhh Cricket is cuddling with her mom.....sending her hugs.....

It looks like its CARROT TIME at the Wicks!!! And everyone is enjoying their treat!

Poor Tracey and that poor Buck ...... i wonder if the scars, scratches, and missing ear part are from territorial fights amongst themselves or is it another critter like a coyote that attack the deer.....???

I wonder if the deer could have got cut by barbed wire. Great pics as always! Especially the one of @MamaWick  and her baby.

@MamaWick   Wonderful pictures of your dear deer.  Tracy looks like she's healing nicely.  Maybe she just got too close to a sharp branch or something from the building material in the area.  Oh my, I just noticed that poor buck's ear.  It looks like he won the fight.

Last night a young doe came to our front door and set off the ring camera at around 11:30 pm.  I think one of your herd sent her.  She had a nice snack of new growth from one of the bushes.  I didn't mind as this bush needs to be pruned. She was polite and left the hostas and flowers alone.

Woofs, continued hugs, kisses, and gentle belly rubs for sweet Cricket.  Glad that she is engulfed in your farms.  The love you have for her can be felt through the picture.  As we like to say, it should be framed. 😍

Cricket, you, and PapaWick are still in my prayers and good thoughts.  💕

Cricket is eating very little.  The anti-nausea med has been given for 5 days so far.  Just picked up the appetite stimulant med and first dose given.

The love and trust that Cricket and you have for one another shines through to the viewer of your very moving photo.  My heart was warmed by the sweet way she has melted into you.

Such love.

I am overjoyed that she just ate her meal!
