Forgive me, MamaWick, but I could not help thinking of the actor Smiley Burnette after reading your name for this buck.  I believe the buck was smiling at you and your generous nature.

 

I'm older than you, but Smiley Burnette was in the classic cowboy movies of my youth.

You know what I saw today?

A squirrel that I thought had a nut in its mouth but it turned out to be a tiny baby squirrel! I have never seen that before now! It was about the size of

a peanut! I wondered why it wasn't in the nest unless the mom needed to move it to a safer place or something.
