@JoyFilled Warrior,

these possums are wild. They appear for a few minutes then go off into the forest to look for food.

The mother has been here before I was here. I don't interact with them just leave a treat, and get to watch. If they saw me or heard me they would run.

They live under my neighbors large bush. The only time I spoke to them was last night when 2 little ones came out and one started being aggressive toward it's sibling so I said "no fighting." Well, they stopped so I guess they listened lol!

They eat tics and (ick) roaches and actually are good to have around. Racoons can cause a lot of damage.

Anyway, there are many things you can read about them and videos to watch.

They are very loud when they chew.They also are very timid. I don't know if they see me as their eyesight is not good in the light. I just give them a little treat of fruit and maybe peanut butter, so they don't depend on me for food but look so pleased and appreciative chewing loudly on the blueberries and bananas! They are a joy to watch!Heart
