His attorney stated emphatically today that he believed that Nick is innocent.

Wouldn't it be unethical for his former attorney to say otherwise? Although he could just not comment🤷‍♀️

Of course he is going to say he is innocent.  I agree with you.  He shouldn't have commented at all regarding this case.

@lgfan  I don't understand, did you quote an old post about Nicks Lawyer leaving and stating, "Nick is innocent".  Hard to keep up here.  As far as I know, Nicks lawyer resigned Jan 7.. today is Jan 14.  Nick now is working with his new PD, a woman...forgot her name.  But she is a 20 year seasoned veteran of the Public Defenders office. I think the post I am speaking of is 3 down from this post.

i tried to look, and as far as I know Alan Jackson quit. A week ago

It was only a week ago that Alan Jackson made that statement.  I don't consider it that old.

@lgfan but ......lol. lol. But I guess it isn't,   Anyway, you are right without knowing it...I looked some more, and there is a Jan 14 article where his old lawyer did make some comments,  basically the same stuff he said. Something to do with Kelly Ripa Off Camera?  I read the info on,Primetime dot com.

Re: DEADLY MYSTERY AT ROB REINER'S HOUSE

@Tinkrbl44  I read an interesting article today in NYT about Nick Reiner.  It was about his mental conservatorship in 2020. It was for one year. It made his Dr or family in charge of his hospitalization and medication. This is very interesting because you have to really be not of sound mind to have one of these conservator ships put on you especially in CA, where patients rights are strictly enforced. It makes me wonder if nicks assets have his parents name on them, and he still doesn't have free access to his money. Either that or he spent all his money and is indigent, or low low income. The article goes into more detail than I can give here

Sorry, @tansy, I don't remember. I should have quoted.

It must have been "not guilty" b/c of insanity in which she hasn't but could appeal.
