Beyond horrific.

as I understand it, the son may have
been actually arrested on an outstanding charge. What, I don't know. They probably did that to hold him, keep him locked up until investigation is done and he is formally charged. The DA may b interviewing and gathering everything , getting warrants and such for air tight case.
then it will be revealed. But not all likely until their is a trial. Nick has been in and out of rehab since 14. Their family is very private, extremely. Rob never put his kids out there. They actually were pretty tight knit. But Nick had his demons, and might have been in trouble again just speculation. Besides, the 3 kids with Michelle, he had an adopted daughter with Penny Marshal, Tracy. They were close as well. Idk which daughter called police after finding parents. .I am just saddened. What a horror . And what a loss

@Oznell wrote:Yes, @Kachina624 , the police have been very reluctant to disclose that so far, despite all the discussion of it all over. I can only conclude they are bending over backward to not compromise their case, and may be hemmed in by strict statutes. They are certainly proceeding with caution.
@Oznell You are most certainly correct I believe. No one wants a case that will come back to bite you because of hasty press conference conferences. Rob is huge personality in LA, as he is loved by many. To say things that haven't been proven without a doubt might harm conviction.

Well, we don't know how long they'd been dead when discovered. We don't know where Nick was at that point. Wherever they found Nick and took him into custody, I'm sure there were "some" traces of blood or whatever on clothing or on his person.
They have to handle this verrrry carefully.
I recall hearing that Rob also owns the house across the street. His daughter and grandkids live there.
I wonder if she'll be able to handle continuing to live there, or will feel she has to move.

If ony the coroner can release information why did the Mayor flap her gums.
In situations like this, "someone" has to make a public statement, even when they need to say as little as possible. It's a tricky public relations dance.
There will be a trial and no one wants to say anything that can screw up the case for the prosecution.
Beyond that, they are still investigating and time has to be allowed for that to be completed.
Based on your comment, I have to ask ... do you actually live in California?

How terribly tragic.
Prayers for Rob and Michele. May God bless their souls. Two talented and seemingly lovely people.
It was Michele who suggested Rob change the ending for "When Harry Met Sally". Initially, Harry and Sally did not end up together. They met years after and walked away after they spoke.
Such dark times, praying for some light.

@Tinkrbl44 I bet they are dotting all P's and Q's! I understand they might have arrested him on previous warrant. Perhaps to hold him in jail, while CSI gets results from Crime scene. I would think they need hard evidence to convict. Unless son totally confesses and signs a statement. Also, with Nicks mental illness issues that had been getting worse, he might have to be examined by Shrink? Just guessing. Idk of course, like the rest of us what happened exactly. It is said Saturday night Rob, Michelle were at Conan's Christmas Party. Somehow Nick was there. Rob and Nick got into a really heated argument, so much others heard. Rob left party. I wonder if Nick continued argument next day at Robs house? . Well, I guess we will Al know soon. The neighborhood there isn't really spread out, but set back. Older like 1930's big homes. I wonder if neighbors heard any thing. It isn't a real secluded street. I am just beyond saddened as I have said. I just don't know what to say....

Nick is in custody. He is being held at Twin Towers. No bail.

@qbetzforreal good, no bail! he is not going to like it there. Wonder if he's in a psych area. I know he's on suicide watch, in segregated area there in TT.

People Magazine got their exclusive as they referred to it from whom?
The law enforcement officer would not release information at the first press conference so why did she?
She is incompetent and needs to resign.
Whether i live in CA or not is no one's business.
