When it is this cold...mn..your exposed skin actually hurts after a couple of minutes. Having lived in this climate most of my adult life, once the air temp is in the teens below zero, it makes no difference. It is awful!!!!

Middle of the afternoon and it is still -21 below with -50 windchills. I just quickly ran the garbage out to the end of the driveway. Brrrrrrr. That woke me up.

It's 2 here, with -16 wind chill. That's cold enough for me!!!

Presently at 34 degrees with cold/wind chill warnings for later - woke to 45 degrees and between this morning and sunset they say the temps will drop 40 degrees. I can take the cold but it's supposed to be windy also. Wind takes down trees that take out power lines. No electricity in this cold will be brutal.

Warmest we got today was -6 around 4 pm. It was -12 at 8 am. Wind chill has been -30 or more all day. Tomorrow we're supposed to get up to 6 by 4 pm - woo hoo heat wave!
