Greetings.....................this is nothing more than a curious question. It truly doesn't matter and I am just curious. The # of my posts never changes. While I don't post a lot.....my number of posts never increases. 

Perhaps you have to initiate a posting rather than reply??? I am adding this because my # of posts has been stuck at 979 for months. Just now, with this post it increased to 980. So maybe responses don't count, but just when you begin a topic??? Oh well...............like I said it is nothing but curiosity for me.

If you have posted on any threads that are removed by the moderators (political, controversial, etc) you lose those in your numbers count.  With this post, it says you now have 980.

@MamaWick Thanks for your reply. That is not the issue because I would never post anything political on any forum. I mostly post recipes or ask questions. Believe me the postings were stuck at 979 for a long time. Oh well....................doesn't really matter.I am only curious as to how posts are counted.

I am guessing that only when you are the originator of a topic that will count for your #.

If you needed to be the OP my post count would be less than 10 so that's not it. Don't know why it appeared "stuck " but it's increasing now.

Theoretically if everything in the Q-verse was working the way it should, your post count would go up with every post, no matter what thread it was in.  

But as was stated previously, if you get a post deleted, it gets deleted from your post count too.

Why yours wasn't moving if you were posting will most likely remain forever a mystery. 🤷‍♀️

 Hi and you know, I think it is just another weird glitch in these always tech issues this website seems to have.

And many times it is with one person, and others with many and there is never a rhyme or reason.

Many times the problem appears all of a sudden and then may go away or may not and it almost never has to do with anyone's browser, device or cookies and cache.  And it's only on the QVC website and forums! It's truly the twilight zone!

I seem to have the only problem of not being able to see pictures or who is responding and replying to several someones but only when I sign in. When I'm signed out, I can see everything. But then to post a reply or give a heart I have to sign in!  People tried to help and I tried to figure it out and the Q social team said they would forward to the "IT people" but the problem is still here. It started all of a sudden when there were lots of problems with this website months ago.

So I'm sorry you also have a weird thing going on but now I don't feel alone in the twilight zone lol!

It must be a glitch in the system.

It's definitely not if you originated the post. That makes no sense.

Just look at each other posts counts.

except for the huge post dump, and reboot in 2010, all posts count. Except as posters mentioned, deleted posts are removed and not counted.  Sometimes it has nothing to do with your post, but the thread. If thread is deleted, everyone's posts are subtracted. I have notices

d. There are times the counter doesn't move, then it will go up 5 or ten. That's what I seem to remember.
