I agree. Knowing someone sees us can make a world of difference.

Be well.🪷

@Cakers3 , I did not think that at all!!!!

I hope you didn't think I was either. I just found your posts thought provoking ( I like to think, but only some of the time. haha) and I really agree with most everything you said, I was just answering your question to me and then pointing out some slight differences in our views.

Take care and I appreciate you saying that.Woman Happy

You are being human.....I think we can all relate.

Like @Cakers3 said, sometimes we all do just want to be seen and heard.

@GingerHead   I don't look at how or what one posts or chooses to  read as etiquette

Re: Curious about posting etiquette....

I could not help but chuckle when I read this, as I was expecting something COMPLETELY different!😂 As this is a regular topic here, sometimes in reference to my threads, my answer is quite simply-no because those who are annoyed can simply choose not to enter said thread!😊I do not understand why they would want to otherwise!🤷🏻‍♀️

I truly struggle to understand why anyone would want to enter a thread knowing beforehand what they are likely to see in a given thread, and who the OP is, or simply exit the thread when they do!🤷🏻‍♀️😁 We all have our unique chat styles and forum etiquette! How wonderful it is that we also have freedom of choice!❤️

I always like to heart a response to a thread I've started.  They took the time to respond to me, I will read their response and let them know I read it with a heart.

Lots of smart, kind people here with good advice.

@SandySparkles Sometimes posters don't title their thread topic clearly or they try to be clever and cute, yet it's still unclear.  Consequently, the rest of us have to click in and read the OP in order to see what the thread is about.

Fair enough, maybe I used the wrong wording for what I meant (wasn't sure how to condense it for the limited space that we have for a title and just picked that word), maybe it's not considered etiquette at all, I don't know???

Well, I honestly didn't want this to turn into a big thing, but of course I have no control over that. Woman Sad

Re: Curious about posting etiquette....

I try to heart all the posts that try to answer my question IF I don't respond personally to them. I don't heart posts that are completely irrelevant.  And I do try to respond at some point as to how I handled the situation, or what worked, or what the solution was.
