I learned to knit Continental and it is very fast.

I enjoy making socks but knit them on traditional double pointed needles, some as small as size 0 (like toothpicks).

1 Christmas I became obsessed and knit 18 pairs of socks as gifts. Again, my brother and now his sons became my 'poor' recipients. He has never complained.

Thanks, Ruthie. I will check her out. Yes, I know we're doing granny squares. Smiley Happy

The classes will be at a yarn shop. I'm looking forward to it.

They offered a knitting class, too.  I might try it.
