Instead of voting 50 times to repeal the ACA, and wasting millions in the process, do ya think that the House could do a jobs bill to put people back to work ?
That would go a long way in helping our cities be what they once were.

My "10 good things" would be:
Willis (formerly Sears) Tower
Buckingham Fountain and the Bean
Portillo hot dogs and Al's Italian beef
Museum of Science and Industry
Shedd Aquarium
Lou Malnatti deep-dish pizza
Second City Comedy Club
Wrigley Field and Soldier Field
The Art Institute
The 'El'
Thank you deep.
I've only been to Chicago 5 times in my life.
You forgot my school, the University of Chicago - one of the finest institutions of higher education in the world - and the Frederick Law Olmsted Park there - the Midway.

It now stands a few points above "junk" status. It is the worst city rating aside from Detroit.
The average Cook County resident is in $61,000 debt. If pensions are added, it is $84,000 they would be on the hook for.
The population is now lower than in 1920. Higher taxes will just cause more residents to flee.
Another once great city in a lot of trouble.

I listed the first ""good things"" that came to mind. Certainly the University of Chicago and the Wendella boat tour qualify as valuable assets in the Windy City.
