Re: Cream Cheese Shortage, What’s Next

Saw this on tv a few minutes ago..,Kraft is trying to cash in on not having their cream cheese in the stores. Wise marketing, I suppose. I rarely buy chroma cheese unless it is for a cheeseball. I can live without it.

Reminds me of the ketchup  so called shortage this summer. Fast Food places had a more difficult time finding packets. People hoarded ketchup bottles after it came on the news.

Like anything else now days some areas are or were affected more than others by cream cheese or lack of. I think stores are doing the best they can to fill shelves under the circumstances.

Food gets to be really an emotional issue with many people.

I don't know what they're talking about, I went food shopping at King Kullen today and they had cream cheese to purchase.

Re: Cream Cheese Shortage, What’s Next

Just read where Kraft was paying customers $20 each to not make a cheesecake this holiday season.

Sounds kind of crazy, why would they pay out money?  People could still buy it or use another brand.

I don't eat the stuff, but I use it for everything from stuffed celery, to crab dips, mashed potatoes, to cherry cream cheese pies (looks so pretty on a holiday set table).
