As an adult person who lives a pretty much all adult or older children life I do not have opportunity to use the word crayon much in everyday conversation. When I do say it is cray- on.

I've never ever heard it pronounced any other way than cray-ons.

Is "crans" a regional pronunciation?  I've always said crayons.

I've heard it both ways all of my life.  I was just watching a youtube video where the lady said "crans".
