Most of the older folk in my deep south deep woods town says cray-uns.
I catch myself saying it like that, how my grandmother, who was a closet artist and taught me the love for coloring.....the smell of crayons will always remind me of her.... said it, but I normally just say crayon.

cray-ons.....have never heard anyone say "crans" or "cray-uns."
