@Kachina624 - Thank you for sharing your memories with us! What an experience for you! Looking down through the glass must have been something; you definitely had a bird's eye view!

I've seen these refueling planes at Dover before and I might have gone in one during an air show along the way. I guess they go all over the world.

You were a trailblazer! I hope they have updated the "facilities" by now, but even recently I imagine there are still some who don't want women flying planes. What was your experience like? Did you face any criticism?

My prayers are with the families and friends of those who lost their lives in this horrific accident.
