Crafters - Need Help

I'm knitting a blanket. The pattern has 28 rows with directions. I need magnets or something to move down the book page to help me stay on the right row that I'm working on. I keep track of my rows on a piece of paper but I have to refer to the stitch several times and it would make is easier to have a ruler or something under the directions. any ideas? does that make sense, LOL?
