And I'm not here to keep their corporate coffers overflowing... It's disingenuous to claim a big deal incentive and then raise prices across the board... If QVC ever offered a real sale or an honest to goodness customer incentive we'd all know the end is near....

If there prices aren't competitive and sales continue their downward trend, as they have been for a while....they wont remain in business very long....

Did L'oreal's slogan convince you to spend more than you should have?

I'm not trying to start up with anyone, just pointing out the fact that QVC is no different than any other retail business when it comes to the bottom line.  QVC's salespeople however sit in your home and befriend you and share homey tales of a perfect life you could have if you buy buy buy.

Beth I appreciate free shipping but can you try to convince the power that be to offer a 20 percent coupon ?   HSN had one this weekend and also got free shipping. I saved over $35. I dont understand why QVC does not offer coupons to loyal shoppers.

@JillyMarieno not just a slogan analogous to your other example because when QVC started up and for the years under the original founder it lived up to that name. It was not just a slogan. I shopped with Q then when it lived up to that name. And it was still back then a for-profit corporation.

I have been here today off and on but nothing for me. I have bought too much this summer-don't want to see my Visa bill. Free shipping would be okay  and but high prices for me still. I like D and C but ridiculous prices this past year. I wait for the specials. I buy at other places on the web that have free shipping constantly. The clothes are good enough for me.
