Re: Cotton/Poly Sheets Question

Polyester is a plastic fiber....no you can't breathe in it...........in the area you wear it. Ugh I hate the stuff...............all natural fiber for me but now it is necessary I wear some poly in my jeans. Nothing else ever.

Just checking to see if bigsister saw my reply.

gidget, I'm back; thanks for checking on me. I FOUND THEM on the Macy's site with your additional info. thank you so much.

I do have one more question: Do your MS sheets feel cool on the body and are they lightweight? I have them in my cart at Macy's.

Bigsister, I don't really know how to answer. They just feel like sheets. They don't feel heavy to me. They're a little "crisp" which is what I prefer. They're not heavy so they're not hot- at least to me.

gidget, thanks for your reply. I wanted to know if they feel cool to the touch. That's what I like and in a sheet that's not too heavy, which apparently these are not. TIA

Re: Cotton/Poly Sheets Question

I've had cotton sheets that pill and fuzz and the stitching is so poor. The newer sheet sets are often made in India or Pakistan where GMO cotton is grown.

I have D. Porthault sheets and Marimekko sheets made by Dan River that are 50/50 percale and they are the smoothest softest sheets. So cool in the summertime because there is no nap. They used to make this version of D.Porthault years ago - they are old but made in USA.
