Did anyone see the story of the mom looking for a fireman costume for her four yr old daughter......she was upset because the boys had pants, jacket,.....and the girls had a short skirt....the store said they pulled them from that one complaint! ..They showed a picture, I did'nt think the girls costume was bad, ...what am I missing?

I don't know if it's bad, but it's kind of silly. A female firefighter wouldn't be wearing a skirt.

I agree, but it is for a four yr old......should they just make one type costume, and not make girly ones?

A lady in our local political discussion group is a volunteer firefighter. She wears the same coverings as the male firefighters: t-shirt, coveralls, overcoat, hat, rubber boots, and neoprene gloves.

Well it's silly in that female firefighters don't wear skirts on the job, but was it that important for the mom to complain about it? Sheesh, get your girl a boy's costume then, and get on with life.
