Just a heads up...I did not realize that the cash rewards credit expires at the end of each year. So i lost about $33 dollars in rewards. It would be nice if they sent a reminder to use them...we only go about every other month and I forget...

I often don't spend mine until later in the year, but I do get reminder E-mails.

Call Costco headquarters in Washington and ask if they will extend the deadline - one thing about Costco, they are a very consumer friendly.

You can also "cash out" your rewards. You can get cash or like us this past weekend we had 650 in rewards and spent 250 so they gave us the difference in cash. I am sure they will extend the date for you they are very accomodating.

@bargainsgirl They do send e-mails as reminders on a regular basis. I would check with them and make sure my e-mail is correct. They are very easy to work with, so you may be able to recoup your loss.

What is a cash rewards credit?

I get a check from my Costco Visa in February and it's usable/cashable until end of year

I get a check in July from my Executive Membership card spending.

Is it one of those?

am I missing another cash back?

Costco sends a certificate for the rewards. It's up to the member to remember to use it, same way as using a coupon.

As for the Costco branded Visa card rebate, I never use it at the warehouse. I cash it and deposit the money in my bank account. Even if I plan on earmarking it for a particular purchase, I'll make the new purchase with my card so I get the rebate on the purchase and then pay the charge with the money that was deposited into my bank account. It's a double whammy that way. I just brought my credit card rebate certificate to the warehouse yesterday. It was over the limit of the cash payout so they wrote me a check.

We just received our February rewards certificate. It was great this year, because they changed it so you can directly deposit it into your bank account from the Citibank website. No need to go to Costco to redeem it.

They also give rewards with the executive membership.

@bargainsgirl Costco does send emails or at least they used to. It's too early in 2022 for this year's reminders and I will spend mine long before notification time.
