Hi,
I don't mind buying used CDs, so I usually find good deals on eBay. I do compare prices though. Sometimes I can find a like new CD for $3 or so!
edited to add--Half PriceBooks also sells CDs if you have one locally.

Half Price Books, Good Will, Salvation Army, consignment shops, garage sales, book and record sellers.

People under 40 are more song-oriented rather than album-oriented. They download songs to their phones and listen through earphones or a separate Bluetooth speaker.
That's why sales of CDs are down, and there are fewer places to buy them.
I just Google the CD name and hope for a good price.

I wanted Adele's new cd and was shocked Walmart had it. Best Buy did not. Although they had the album, yes I said album lol. Even had record players. Who would have thought lol. We have a nice used bookstore where I live and also used cd's however they are not in any kind of order so I have never looked through them.

Most of what I buy comes from amazon, including the many CD's and DVD's I had to replace after our sewage flood a few years back.
Usually the best price and as a prime member, quick and free delivery. I have gotten 2 defective ones, called their CS, and had replacements usually in 2 days. They did not want the defective ones returned.
Always buy Bluray or 4k DVD when they are available. I like the best audio, Dolby/DTS etc. along with the very best video resolutions.

@PickyPicky3 Maybe in YOUR neck of the woods, not mine. I've been burning CDs & DVDs since 2000. I can purchase a 100 stack from any drug store, Walmart, Target & BJ's.
Music I want to download & burn I can find on the WWW. I haven't purchased musical CDs since 2000 as that was the year I learned how to "burn."
There is a record shop not to far from me. It's called Tunes. I believe they are national.
I also live near a "metropolitan city" that has plenty of record shops.
