for his age 30 years in prison is just too much, house arrest would be the best- however who really knows if all of the allegations are true from these women, maybe one or two but I sincerely doubt all of them are telling the truth just like a lot of women that are spouting off the me too thing- and yes I am woman but I also know that alot of flirting goes on and things are said by both men and women, but I guess if you are so thin skinned you would take offense- I do not condon physical touching but words are completely different- I also believe if you feel you have been violated waiting years is not appropriate, speak up and report it when it happens, women need to just get a thicker skin and stand up- i know most won't agree with me but being an ex flight attendant and RN i have seen it all and have dished out alot myself to men

Wow! Such a juvenile way to describe murderers and rapists.

I am usually a person that questions most things, but i bought into him,i did feel he was  more like the person on his show ,than not ,i was really wrong, he thought because of his fame ,he could get away with what he was doing.

I'm happy that your cancer patient is cancer free.  That is wonderful news.  I, however, also am happy that justice was served.  Cancer hurts people.  So does rape.  We need to stop people from hurting others whenever we can..... it's good news in my book.

@jubilant I totally agree that rape is a horrible crime.  That's obvious.  What I'm saying even though Mr. Crosby was found guilty and it's nice to see justice.  I haven't really followed the trial at all, but I have noticed in other cases when a person is mentioned for this type of crime, women come out of the woodwork and tell their story months and even years later.  How many are lieing and how many are telling the truth.  I'm sure he's guilty, but I'm also sure that there's women out there that will come forward after a long period of time and accuse that weren't really sexually assaulted.

@Blingqueen023, your reply to @sunala made no sense. To her, this was the best news of the day. Why bring up cancer?

And it seems from your reply to @jubilant that you are more concerned about false accusations, which do occur but I bet are dwarfed by genuine accusations, than by the fact that a man used his power and fame to exploit and degrade women all the while playing that wonderful dad and mentor who had the gall to lecture young people on how to behave.

I don't think people are saying he shouldn't get 30 years in jail because he's 80, I think the reality is that he didn't murder anyone and judges don't send elderly people away fro decades.  He's old and he's legally blind and he has health issues;  the prison system doesn't want to deal with all that.  All that and his personal safety, he's wealthy man who could be easily victimized.  After the appeal fails, and that will take a while.  It will be house arrest for his remaining years....and certainly won't be 30.  I remember how his team and supporters were dancing around grinning and high fiving after the hung jury......totally different story today.  That was good to see.

@chrystaltree, your points are valid. I think that it's easy to get swept up in the drama and forget the reality. I think he is despicable and digusting, but those are not "legal" adjectives that should bear on the decision as to what to do with him now.
