I am the first to admit that I can be kind of lazy and sloppy when it comes to posting on forums. I do try to at least spell properly though...
I once had a boss that would hand me proposals to type up, he spelled proposal - purposal. I could not in good conscience type it that way, he rarely caught it. Once he did, yelled at me and demanded I correct it immediately. I tried in a nice way to explain to him that it was wrong, he kept screaming at me. I finally got him the dictionary, he laughed shrugged his shoulders and the day went on. The insane part was this man had been in business for years, had many secretaries...I find it hard to believe that he never learned to use the proper word.
The next day I was fired for correcting the boss smh LOL.

Spelling and grammar mistakes I tend to let go...I make those mistakes as well. If it's factuallly incorrect and I can supply a reference to back that up, I'll try to post the correction as gently as possible.

Anyone who can't get the intent of a post or overlook a misspelled word and feels the need to correct the poster really needs a new hobby or perhaps a new forum with other sanctimonious, pseudo-big brains.

I have always been a pretty good speller, but I find when I type, I forget how to spell some words! If I take a pen or pencil and write it out, no problem! Is that a brain thing?

kinda sorta........when you teach dyslexics words, you have them trace the word on sand paper, while saying each letter out loud.......you use sand paper because what you're doing is using muscle memory to help them "memorize" how to spell the word......the idea is to use as many of the senses as possible......sight, sound, touch................................raven
