Nope.  Never.  I would hire a professional work out specialist and torture my body daily with a specially designed work out program, however, to get the results I would like to see in my body.  To each her own, however.

I'd do it in a hot minute if it wasn't so expensive. I've saw pictures that were just amazing. Good luck, I would schedule a consult with a plastic surgeon, or whoever you are considering to do it.

I'm seriously thinking of doing this. I'm thin but have that pooch thing going on that isn't budging. I would check out realself.com for personal reviews on this and any other cosmetic procedures. I'm finding it helpful, plus lots of photos from regular people, not just the doctor's "best case" ones.

Re: Cool Sculpting: any thoughts here ?

My hairstylist had the procedure done one time and when they finished she said she looked to be six months pregnant.   She said her stomach was so swollen and the whole procedure was very uncomfortable.   A few days later she ended up at urgent care with a bad infection.   It took her a while on antibiotics for the infection to finally clear up.

After the procedure was finished they told her she needed to come back again in three months so they could re-evaluate her and do another treatment.

Needless to say she never went back and felt that the whole procedure was a bit of a come-on.   Once they get a hold of you they keep you on the hook and keep you coming back.  It's never a one-time only treatment.

My girlfriend had it done on her thighs & love handles  last year. She had two treatments. She had a great result. She went down two sizes.

She had a bit of swelling & discomfort but said it was well worth it.I think you have to make sure you go somewhere where they have a lot of experience performing the procedure. This will help you get the best result with minimal side effects.

   Good luck!!

Re: Cool Sculpting: any thoughts here ?

I have a family member that is a RN for a cosmetic surgeon, she's pretty knowledgeable about the coolsculpting. She said they've seen a fairly high success rate, but she said it's not for everyone. The Dr she works for is a really incredible person who is very honest with patients if he tells them he doesn't think they will be happy with the results and why.

Everyone has to make the decision best for themselves. But, if it makes someone feel confident or more comfortable, then they should! I know for some, loosing weight can be a challenge. Cool sculpting (or even lipo) can give people the jumpstart or motivation they need.

If you decide to move forward with it, best wishes!

I lost 100 pounds and I know how to keep it away, but I have massive amounts of loose skin. My husband doesn't care, and I don't either. I've always looked old.

Anything that either sucks away or freezes off fat cells will leave wrinkles, because the fat that held up the skin will be gone.

I had the inherited saddle bags liped off years ago and have been happy ever since.  If you DO gain later in life, that area won't build up again.
