@NC Bandwagon wrote:Why the threads get deleted so often:
-New poster with a very low post count - "OMG! YOU TOTALLY ONLY JOINED TO CAUSE TROUBLE!"
-Poster says they like the host, but isn't fond of the outfit they're wearing - "OMG! YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS THAT THEY'RE PRETTIER AND MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN YOU!"
-Poster misspells a word - "OMG! WHAT SCHOOL DID YOU GRADUATE FROM?! OR DID YOU EVEN GRADUATE?! LOLOLOLOLOLOL"
-Poster asks a question about pretty much anything - OMG! YOU'RE QUESTION IS WEIRD AND YOU ONLY ASKED THAT TO CAUSE TROUBLE!"
-Poster gives compliment to anyone at QVC - "OMG! YOU'RE JUST A PAID SHILL WHO WORKS FOR QVC!"
-Poster post about doing a good deed - "OMG! YOU THINK YOU'RE SOOOOOO HIGH AND MIGHTY NOW!"
-Poster posts a nice thread - "OMG! KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE SUNSHINE AND BUTTERFLIES!"
-Poster posts a not-so-nice thread - "OMG! QUIT BEING SO NEGATIVE!"
This is probably an exaggeration (maybe), but I think most here get the gist of it.
All that aside, I think some people just learn to grow a thicker skin by default. When people were mean to me on this forum, I was all like, "Why are you being so mean?! I didn't even do anything to you!"
Now, I've gotten better at just ignoring it. Some still take a few verbal swipes at me sometimes, but I just don't even bother to respond. Because what's the point? It's not like they'll believe me anyway. So it's best to just not respond.
You hit the nail on the head @NC Bandwagon! I've seen all of these things happen way too many times. You are always so positive and nice I think we can all (me included) learn a thing or two from you. ![]()

Maybe they need to add another forum just for such things.. then everyone can have it.. you know how nasty and personal those controversial theads can become... as far as off topic threads, LOL I love it when they go in different directions but are still on topic.. make sense?
Yes, that would be nice for us. Not sure that QVC would think the same! They could name it something like Travel At Your Own Risk......

Yes, I am voting! Don't know who for yet but will definitely vote.

All things considered, I think most (not all) people vote what benefits their wallet.

are you voting?
**********Biancardi, that's what makes us America. We all have the right to vote. What one person considers intelligent another doesn't. What one person considers wise is not what another thinks. It has always been that way. Yes, some people are more intelligent, some are more wise, and some just don't care....but we all get to vote and we all live by that vote. I can't think of any other way to do it fairly. People just cannot come to agreement these days. We need to get that figured out and soon.
I am not the one who made the nasty comment about scary voters, so I do not know why you posted this to me.

*********** Oh, my gosh, I am so sorry, biancardi. I originally started that post out as ......"biancardi, this doesn't sound like you" ....I decided to change it so as not to offend. Thanks for bringing to my attention I had the wrong person.

Then again, the number of people who don't vote for what is in their best interest in certain parts of the country always surprises me.
