Contributor Status - Page 6

My status was just elevated to "Super Contributor." I don't feel any different. I'm just a regular girl at heart.

I don't pay any attention to the post count or the titles. I lost posts too with the change over but it didn't bother me. I may post a lot for a few days and then not at all for a spell. I do enjoy getting on here and reading and posting, lots of fun threads and lots of good advice and HU about upcoming events.

As for the titles, or whatever they're called, I just ignore that. It seemed to me that, after the inital change, I automatically didn't even notice them anymore. I don't notice mine or anybody else's.

I think it's just an automatic thing based on posts and maybe also some of the fluff stuff that I don't see on my screens. I doubt that harm was meant. Maybe they thought it would be a fun feature for some.

I guess ya just can't please everybody!

It's a goofy system. My post count would be probably close to 30K if they would have included the numbers we had before they redid the system (again!). Honestly though, I don't even pay attention to what it says. I actually had to go read what my status is.

I'm not big on this status thing. It reminds me of grade school or when mom made up charts for my brother, sister, and I. If we made our beds and did our chores we could put stars on our charts. After so many stars we would be rewarded according to how well we did. It may work for kids in grade school but I just feel it is not a good fit here.
